[powerdot] pdfstartpage in powerdot

Dear all,
I have a small trouble with powerdot version 1.4i : when I use pauseslide to
make a black slide, it works fine with all the hyperlinks on title but the pdf
file does not open at the second page as it should.
It seems that the command \ifpd@pauseslide\def\@pdfstartpage{2}\fi at line 436
of powerdot.cls is not executed.
I have no idea how to solve that small problem, any help is welcome.
