I can confirm that unfortunately adobe reader still collects a
considerable amount of memory, but not so fast anymore. I couldn't
check how long it took but when coming back, indeed there was a
runtime error and the application closed.

"I've been in communication with some of the Adobe Acrobat engineers,
the problem with the clock is with the form fields. They will fix it
for Acrobat/Reader 8.0."
