This may seem like a retarded question, but I cannot get \pause to work *at all*. The instructions (p. 11 of the manual) seemed simple enough. But when I put in a \pause command, the material after the \pause appeared on the slide immediately. Here's a trivial example: ===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+=== \documentclass[ size=12pt, paper=screen, mode=print, display=slides, style=klope, fleqn ]{powerdot} % \begin{document} %------------------------------------------------------------------------ \begin{slide}{Trying to Use Pause.} Here's some text \pause and here's some more. \end{slide} %------------------------------------------------------------------------ \end{document} ===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+===+=== I got a slide saying ``Here's some text and here's some more.'' without any pausing involved. I'm running on Redhat Linux and using Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7.0.0. I haven't a clue where to begin to seek out the source of the problem. Can anyone set me going in the right direction? cheers, Rolf Turner rolf@xxxxxxxxxxx
