Dear POV,
After the article in the Times Sunday, we decided to head out to
Ocean Shores yesterday to see the snowy owls. Conditions were challenging,
with torrential rain, wind and a 2 mile hike. My glasses were fogged and I
could not always see to try to adjust the focus manually. We were fortunate
enough to see 3.
Attached is one of 3 of my favorites. I like this one despite
the closed eyes. The owl has a wistful appearance.
Taken with Canon EOS 20D with 100-400 mm zoom Series 1 at full mag (= 640
mm).
