This is good for running both the latest Lightroom and Photoshop versions on
two of your computers. You can also install older Photoshop CC versions back
to 2013 or CS6. Plus 2GB cloud storage.
I've been using the retail versions of Lightroom since its beginning close to
ten years ago. The killer feature that has convinced me to go CC is
Lightroom Mobile for IOS and Android. This allows me to sync my desktop-based
Lightroom collections via the cloud with my iPad Lightroom app. How this
works is that the cloud downloads a low-memory "smart preview" of each image
to the iPad. On the iPad I can then edit the image using the iPad Lightroom
app, which is very well designed and easy to use. Since the images are
synched, the changes automatically appear on the images in my desktop
computer. So I can work on images while riding the water taxi every morning.
That convenience is easily worth $8 per month to me.
