Sorry for grouping us all but I was just hoping to contact Gabby, chat about
where she is in Georgia and how it’s going there. Gabby, my email is
kingstreet1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you want to connect apart from this group.
Cheers!
Heather

Subject: [poetpests] Re: Poetry in a time of Pestilence - Video Hook Up Sunday
29/3/20 at 6 pm CST
I love this idea, Mike, and would have hooked up if I'd seen the email in time.
We've been Zooming with Aphra who can't visit us at the moment - all four of us
on different devices in our house and Aphra in her share house up the road.
I'll try and get organised for next week. Looking forward to it.

Hi all
I've had zero interest so far in having an occasional (say weekly) video
meeting but I'm going to persist with the idea to see if it might take off.
Zoom is an easy to use video conference app for PCs, phones. tablets. It's free
to use (for 40 minutes per meeting). I'm using it with a meditation group for
daily meditations, and it works well and several of the members are 'senior' so
you youngsters should have no trouble.
So I'm initially going to host a meeting at 6 p.m. CST tonight (Sunday). In
future we can maybe try to schedule one that fits in with Gaby's timezone. I
expect the first meeting will have few if any attendees other than me and if it
does there'll be glitches with video and audio etc. That's to be expected
especially as I've never hosted a zoom session before so might end up with egg
on my face.
Anyway, for PC you can download zoom here.
https://zoom.us/support/download ;
or look for it in your android or apple app store. Do this well in advance of
the meeting so that you have time to create your login etc. It's pretty
straightforward.
Then about 5:55 click on this link
https://us04web.zoom.us/j/2697645133
Meeting ID: 269 764 5133
No agenda, just be nice to see each other and chat about poetry and the week
we've had.
And I'll talk briefly about the prompt for week 2, so attendees will get a head
start.
