[platypus-dev] -F option not recognised on commandline

As reported by Gustavo Gutierrez in July'08, platypus 4.0 refuses to
accept the -F option.
I couldn't find any response to this in the archive. Is there a
solution? It's a show-stopper for scripting app generation.
