Dear Lin,
Join colleagues, representatives from US birding and nature organizations,
and birding experts at the 2017 Costa Rica International Birding Conference.
The 5-day event will be held at Selva Verde Lodge & Rainforest Reserve in
Sarapiquí, located amid primary and secondary forest in the Caribbean
lowlands of Costa Rica. Sign up by April 20th and you will receive a $50
donation to your organization.
The goal of the conference is to foster bird-based tourism as a means to
engage and create international partnerships in the birding community.
Representatives from birding organizations are invited to share their
experiences and vision. Come and participate in an exchange of ideas,
learning, and birding in the tropics at its best!
The conference features field trips, seminars and presentations on
international and Costa Rica topics, such as National Audubon’s International
Alliance Program, ABA’s Youth Birding Initiative, and birding tours for
