of the Season sighting for me today. I birded Ryner Road (around the Bouie)
and Lux Road and saw my first Yellow-rumped Warblers. They were present at
both locations. I wasn’t able to get a very good picture of one but I have
attached one that is OK for identifying the species. It seems that they were
more interested in eating than posing for some photograph. Oh well, I should
have quite a few months ahead to get one of them to pose for me. Seeing them
today just made me realize that fall is well and truly here.
