Looks we have 3 days to show him all the birds here.
Aaron, will you take us to Chain Park and the other place right across the
river? WE can do my backyard and work in the other places.
Diane

Hi Diane
No I will only be available to go birding for 2 or 3 days from the 22nd to the
24th. I am visiting my brother and he's going to be working those three days so
actually my only chance during my visit to do some birding.
Regards
Werner
Hi Werner
Do you want all your time looking for birds? I have some people and places
lined up. We can start in my back yard.
- - Hattiesburg Sewage Lagoons, Chain Park, Petal Bike Park and Jim Walters,
the O'Neal farm (if they are in town), Lux [Bishop's], McSwain's [Larry S], the
Chickasawhay WMA [??], Jerri -Country Club, Joe, etc. Would Duncan Lake be
good last of August?

Hi Diane
I will be in Hattiesburg from the 19th to the 25th. I have heard from quite a
lot of people that August isn't very good for birding but seeing that this will
be my first time in the states even just getting a few birds would be awesome.
Kind regards
Werner

Hi Werner
Can you give me the dates you will be here. I think we can find a few
birds. I don't consider August being birdy Just hot. But come on and we
will see what we can do. My backyard should have lots of Ruby-throated
Hummingbirds getting ready to migrate.

Hi Martha
My name is Werner van der Walt, I live in South Africa. I am visiting the
states in August. I will be staying in Hattiesburg for a week and was
thinking of going birding around the area for a few days. I found your email
address on missbird.org <http://missbird.org> <http://missbird.org> , I was
wondering if you know
of anyone in Hattiesburg that will be willing to go birding with me as this
will be the first time I visit the states and don't really know where to go
bird around there?
Kind regards
Werner
