Php-accelerator is starting just fine: Here is what is in the error log on
an apache restart:

[Mon Mar 18 10:59:18 2002] [notice] shm - Cache shared memory removed (pid
22031)
[Mon Mar 18 10:59:18 2002] [notice] shm - Cache semaphores removed (pid
22031)
[Mon Mar 18 10:59:18 2002] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down
[Mon Mar 18 10:59:24 2002] [notice] Apache/1.3.12 OpenSSL/0.9.6a (Unix)
PHP/4.1.2 configured -- resuming normal operations
[Mon Mar 18 10:59:24 2002] [notice] shm - Initialised shm mem pool size
8372168 (007fbfc8) pt 512 (pid 23214)

As far as I can tell fron that, the cache is starting correctly:

BUT, I just looked at error log again and it is FULL of this:

[Mon Mar 18 11:11:22 2002] [warn] Cache open failed (pid 24814)

This error (with different pid's (maybe 20 - 40 or so on each pid)) is
filling up the log FAST..

Do you have entries in your main server error log about the key cannot be
found? What happens if you run (via ssh) ./phpa_cache_admin -mv ?
