Everyone,

I've just put release 1.0p5 on the site at

        www.php-accelerator.co.uk/download.php

This addresses the issues that some of you reported recently, and
SquirrelMail should now work fully, and the report yesterday from Manu
should be resolved too.

Please upgrade to this version, and as always, please report any problems
:-)

Aside from addressing any further reports of problems, the things that I
have in mind or am considering doing are as follows:

* add detection and automatic clearing of leaked locks on the shared memory
to prevent possible server lockup if it crashes for any reason

* improve the cache replacement algorithm

* complete a cache management utility to give access to the cache statistics
and permit removal of stale cache entries and disc files

* allow multiple shared memory segments for a larger total cache size

* lock management changes to allow new cache entries to be written while old
ones are being read

* cache configuration directives to control what does and doesn't get cached
in shared memory or on disc

* last but not least, tidying the source and a GPL license

I hope that this version works well for you, and I'd be interested to know
if you're using the cache with any of your servers on a permanant basis, and
maybe add your site to a links section that I'd like to compile. And indeed,
other than for compatability reasons, if you're not then why, so that
improvements can be added if necessary.

Many thanks for your continued support and interest,

Nick
