Looks like our bug:
"WARNING: Adding inherited function failed"
seems to be connected to the described behaviour.

That's good news, you're releasing a revisd version - Could you provide a 
guestimate on release-time ?

Unfortunate, this is not an option for us, as we cant look into any php 
package our users want to install.
