It looks like what I thought were tabs were just spaces (although you couldn't
tell by looking at the code). I'm using BB Edit on a Mac, apparently it's not
inserting tab spaces correctly. So I just copied it over to Word, re-inserted
the tab spaces, saved as .txt, and everything works correctly.
