The following new message has been posted on Phorm Support Forum at <http://www.phorm.com/support/>. *************************************************************************** MESSAGE: (#3225) Line spacing in textarea <http://www.phorm.com/support/?rev=3225> AUTHOR: Rich DATE: September 19, 2003 at 11:20 a.m. EST Hi, Is there a way I can limit the spacing in a textarea when the user hits enter, within the textarea, to start a new paragraph? What happens now is it skips multiple lines and makes the resulting email have huge gaps between paragraphs. I went on an HTML forum, and someone wrote this: "if the form is being submitted to a server side script then you have to edit the script to remove the linefeeds\carraige returns (or newlines). This varies a little depending on the platform of the PC sending the data, but generally \r\n are the meta characters for linefeed\newline that is sent with the textarea if there is more than one line sent." Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rich *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice.
