Hello All,
We are releasing a new version of
MicroHOPE<http://www.expeyes.in/microhope>,
a low cost micro-controller development system from the
PHOENIX<http://www.iuac.res.in/%7Eelab/phoenix/>project of
IUAC <http://www.iuac.res.in>.
Micro-controller programming is a part of many science and engineering
courses but most of the students are forced depend on kits that require
more time understanding the kit rather than the micro-controller. Objective
of this work is to provide a simple and easy to use solution that does not
hide the uC details inside complex libraries. Programming in C and
Assembler are supported, with the help of GCC. Assembler feature is mainly
to understand the uC architecture by writing simple programs.

The Atmel Atmega32 based kit is affordable and comes with a set of plug-in
modules and documented example projects. It has a very simple
IDE<http://www.expeyes.in/node/119>that is available on both GNU/Linux
and
MSWindows <http://www.expeyes.herobo.com/microhope.php>.

The details are on the Website <http://www.expeyes.in/microhope>.

*Those who are members of other mailing lists and social networking sites
are requested to forward this information for maximum reach.*

with regards

Ajith
