Oklahoma ABLE Tech would like to personally invite you to sign up for
FREE Assistive Technology Support Team Trainings!
Does someone in your school or district know how to effectively consider and
assess whether or not a piece of assistive technology is needed for a
student to receive a free and appropriate public education?
Oklahoma ABLE Tech invites YOU to put together a team of people, through a
Memorandum of Understanding, who will learn how to do this!! Your team may
consist of two or more individuals representing a variety of staff
positions. Recommended team members may represent elementary, middle school,
high school special education and may include the Special Education
Director, Speech-Language-Pathologist, Occupational and Physical Therapists,
and general education teachers. Teams will attend a face-to-face training,
webinars, and receive other online training resources! View the link below

The one-day, regional training event in your area will be held November
11th, 2014 in SALLISAW, OKLAHOMA.
Content for the training derives from Dr. Penny Reed, nationally recognized
AT leader and special education consultant.

Nov. 3 Lawton Cameron University
Nov. 11 Sallisaw Carl Albert State College

ABLE Tech AT Team training events are made possible through a contract with
the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Attendance certificates and
CEUs will be available.
