I doubt someone will be using that same scanner, maybe the
Canon software. So if you can't find out how to turn it off,
just go to the Program Files folder and look for .wav or .mp*
or other audio files for it and just delete them. That
"shouldn't" generate any errors. But don't delete them from
the Recycle Bin yet. You could just rename them and leave them
in the current folder.

Windows xp pro, sp3;
Omnipage 17;
Cannon lide 60 flatbed scanner (with bundled SW)

When scanning, a bit of music plays. I've been poking around,
and I
can't find where to turn it off.

Anybody?

TIA
