(Something odd was/is going on with the list. In your email below you have "Subscriptions" and that's the post that got the bounce, yet it was still posted to the list! And I still have no idea what was/is going on with Hugh's address. Most confusing and odd). Well if that's the case ("announce only" and "four members"), then why ban email addresses? It may be easier just to make a closed-list now where no others can join. -Clint God Bless, Clint Hamilton, Owner www.OrpheusComputing.com www.ComputersCustomBuilt.com www.OrpheusComputing.com/most_reliable_cheapest_webhosting.html www.OrpheusComputing.com/office/computer_accessories.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom" Clint, I posted a message that had the word "subscribe" in the text and I got a response from freelists.org saying my message was bounced because of that word. So, I changed the word to "join" and resent the message. That's the one Hugh replied to. Thanks Hugh. I use Mailman for the e-mail list. It's an announce-only list. There are only four members who can post to it. If other list members try posting or if any e-mail address tries to subscribe they are refused and the list moderators receives a notification. Hope I made sense! Tom ** Your Message ** >Tom this was from Hugh, I don't know what's going on because the post was actually bounced back: "Non-member submission to closed-post list." !!!!!! Huh?? I checked and your address IS still subscribed!
