Does anyone have any idea what would make all of my drives' letters from uppercase to lowercase when opening a text file?? Every time I open a text file, the prefix drive letter is now lowercase. I find it most annoying, especially since I have no idea why it would start doing this. I have done nothing to the PC. It doesn't matter where the file is, C, D, or E, all lowercase now. I use Metapad for text files (Notepad doesn't show the path), but Metapad requires NO installation and there are no settings for this.
