I was given an old Compaq 5020 computer. The hard drive is a
strange shaped thing with a kind of circuit board attached to
it with the IDE connection on it. The IDE connector seems to
be a standard forty pin connector but I can't unplug it. I'm
affraid of breaking it if I try too hard.

Is it meant to be unplugged?

Thanks,

Tom
