In what way is the floppy built into the computer that the Zip is not? They are both internal, they both have to be plugged into the power supply, and they both have to be attached via ribbon cable. If I disconnect the floppy cable, it will cease to function also. So, if it's being connected to the same IDE cable that the hard drive is connected to that makes it a removable drive, why is the hard drive not a removable drive? An internal ZIP connects via the IDE cable that the hardrives and cd roms connect too. IF you pull the box apart that an external ZIP is in, it can become a internal ZIP drive, I tried it not long, just for the hell of it.>>>>Darryl To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
