Ok the only way to explain this, is by going through what I was doing to notice :). Open up the Volume Control, open up winamp, so you can see both the volume control and winamp, slide winamps volume slider all the way down (turning the volume down), turn the volume control and wave sliders on the volume control all the way up, now watch what happens when you slide the volume up in winamp, It gets louder, thats right, now slide the volume in winamp back down a little, now watch what happens in volume control, thats right nothing, the sliders dont move. My question is, is there another style of preamp thing again, apart from the one in the eq, of winamp, as it appears to be completly independent of the volume control, and of the gain in the eq Darryl To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/
