This is, I am afraid, the "shape of things to come" from our "friends" in
Redmond, Washington. It has been expected for some time, because it is
effectively a license to "print money" (e.g., no need to worry about "income
streams" in the future. This is one reason that I have been suggesting
other options to M$ Office:
