the newest zone alarm is now working? I have the older one
on my older computer - with all those problems a while back,
I was hesitant to update it.
If it is safe to update it, I will do that now. Is it??

Hi Cristy,
The 'patch' was Windows SP2 it was not called Zone Alarm
patch

In Zone Alarms main window I click on the update button.
you could also click on the What's new at Zone Alarm button.

I have my ZA set to automatically update.
It pops up a message box saying there is a new update
available.
 it is now version 5.5.052.004
