I think most serious techs will give you a similar answer... and that is
that there is no set procedure or process that works the same for every type
of problem. Speaking for myself, the process I take depends on the problem
at hand, or the symptoms that the computer is producing. What's the computer
doing that requires you to troubleshoot?
