I went to this url
http://www.softwarepatch.com/utilities/msdosmouse.html
after 10mins it still hadn't loaded so I shortened the
adds to '-/utilities' and I had a monitor full of popups
!

one remained on top and wouldn't be deleted.
it said 'you are vulnerable to attack on port £$%^'

I was forced to do a hard reboot, and then found that my
av prog would not scan; the icon was greyedout and so
was the drop down.

an 'update' didn't fix it, but thank goodness, an
uninstall and re-d/l and I was safe [relatively] and
secure once more.

thread followers beware.

cheers
Ted
