The chapters are nothing more than segments of the recording. I think
software sets the default for creating chapters every 10 minutes, but you
can make the lengths longer or shorter.

Looks like I will have to erase the DVD-RW, get all the movies edited that I
want on one DVD-RW and then burn them all at once. I tried fooling with
menus once but since my mom does not have a remote control on her DVD player
that option would not work for me. They also have something they call
"chapters" which I do not fully understand yet.
