I have been using yahoo messenger for years and years. We Dulaneys are
scattered all over the world so we have "reunions" on-line using the Yahoo
Messenger we have no problems not since we discovered that a few of us had our
cam w/mike or a seperate mike too close to our speakers once moved away from
eachother all was well and worked GREAT. Now most of us use headsets, but that
just my be a craze as a mike or cam w/mike works very well.

Soon Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger will be able to talk to one another
and it won't matter which of those systems you and your family/friends are on.

If you download and install the new yahoo messanger version 7. And if you
use the call feature and video conferencing. I would be interested in
knowing how the sound works for you. My sister and I are having problems
with bad distortion and all. I think it could be something on her end but
not sure. I have used it okay with someone else, no problems.

thanks,
Christine

Is the credit card requested by the download site or the Yahoo
installation/registration process?

I've never had to give credit card info when downloading direct from
Yahoo...
