Doing a search for *.dbx is probably the easiest way. In Vista, you can
just click on the results and you will see the files.

I am curious though. You want to know how to delete all the ??? that has
been deleted.

If you are talking about emails, they are deleted when Vista shuts down if
you have that set.
Tools
    Options
        Maintenance
The first box should be checked if you want Windows to
automatically delete mail that is in the delete file.

If you are looking for the .dbx file to delete the email, it should be empty
IF Windows Mail is closed and you have checked the above mentioned box.
If you are not confident of that and have something you want to be sure is
gone, then...

Do a search for :
delete.dbx
When it finds it, delete the file.
A new Delete file will be created when Windows Mail opens... just like in
OE.
That is true for the default folders.
If you create a folder yourself and then delete the .dbx for it, it will NOT
be recreated when Windows Mail opens.
You will need to re-create that file yourself.
Hope this helps...
