No, this unit is only USB 2.0. The model is WD800B008-RNN but I think
that's just a WD model number. I got it at Newegg.com, item number
N82E16822144330, although I've seen it for less (with rebate) at some of
the local stores lately.
There are Firewire ones but they are usually combined with USB and are
more expensive.
