Patricia, i believe in order to clear that dropdown list you need to go to
control panel/internet options/clear history ~Glo

yes ..IE...thats my browser...in the middle of the page it says
"search the web" there is a blank box to type your search in
when you do this alot eveyrthing you have searched for is still there
thus the drop down box appears...I want to clear this out and start new
instead of scrolling to find a seach I did a year ago.

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- QUESTION on web search

I use yahoo as my home page.....in the middle of the page you have
the "search the web" box you can type in whatever you are looking for
and the click search...my question is how do you delete what shows up in the
drop down box? this is so full takes forever to scroll to then I type it
again
for my search and now have another added to the list...I would just like to
delete them and start new
