Hi Jeff, During the initial POST (Power On Self Test) routine, are you hearing any beeps from the mainboard's speaker? A single beep typically means that the BIOS found no problems. Any other combination of beeps (short, long and/or pauses) indicates a hardware problem. Keep in mind that these beep combinations (beep codes) vary between different BIOS manufacturers. I have an intel D850EMV2 MOBO with a p4 2.0 processor. I have 512 mb ram in matched pairs with Crimms installed also. I get the green light on on the motherboard but when I hit the power button, the system seems like its going to start but it doesn't. It doesn't even give me post. Any suggestions on where I could begin to trouble shoot?Thank you for any helpJeff To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/
