Don,
My error - I should have said that my ISP does not supply 'help' for
Thunderbirsd.  Having previously run Thunderbird on this ISP server (pop and
smtp) know it should work.  I'm stuffed if I know how to change the
login/password to get into my mail  program. Reinstalling TH. didn't give me
the opportunity to offer my new password!
