Well...188MB is WAY less than 2GB so you really don't need to worry.
(you got about another 1200MB before you are even close)

But...to be safe I can tell you that I always make a backup copy of my
pst file just in case something happens to the original...just make a
copy and put it somewhere safe, any update it regularly.

Hi,

I recollect a thread some time back wherein it was mentioned that if the
.pst file in MsOutlook exceeds 2GB there will be trouble.

Today as a routing check I was checking the .pst file on my computer and
it
shows 188MB. This has set my alarm bells ringing.

Can someone guide me as to how to make new pst files so that I can
transfer
a part of my e-mails to this new pst file and maintain the limit well
within
2GB.
