Sorry I couldn't answer you, I got off on my own problems Sincerely Yours, Hank http://www.radarmatrix.com http://hdka.stormpages.com/indexf.html http://www.babelmagazine.com/wing.html http://members.myecom.net/hdka/ct/ct.html ----- Original Message ----- From: RMB White To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, June 20, 2003 12:20 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Links won't open As a Newbie to the list, I doffs my hat and wipes me feet. Having gnashed my teeth, and torn out much of my remaining hair whilst wrestling with IE and OE, I was impressed with Jo Ann's experience with Mozilla; so I am trying it ........... BUT have a few little grumbles (due probably to my inexperience) and one big one:- BIG question ......... does Adaware work with Mozilla?? On first attempts to access my ISP using Mozilla, the screen automatically opened with an advert purporting to offer Virus Alert Information (but in fact appears to be spyware) ! The message is from InternetALERT Download, from images.bonzi.com and contains the Data-miner Alexa. This has previously been tracked and identified on my computer by Adaware in IE6 but when I ran an Adaware scan on everything (including Mozilla) no report came up. I shalll not bore the list at this stage, with the other minor grumbles, but is there, amongst the zillions of Mozillionaires out there, some learned sage who could help?? and give some insightful comment?? I shall be very grateful indeed. Roger the Rogue. ps I have the free Adaware 6.0 (which does not include Adwatch) Jo Ann W. wrote: >I had alot of problems since I got IE 6.
