Sorry for the delay. Hey, I hate changes, too. I know how you feel! :o) Unfortunately, since I am not a Netscape user, I can only visualize what = you're explaining in these posts. I'm not understanding if you mean the = 'home page' you're set to is different, or if you mean the actual = browser buttons and customizations. If the former, the home page, its = possible that you cleared the cookie file which stores what and how the = content is displayed. If that's the case, its just a matter of = re-customizing. On the other hand, the program that deleted the cookies = in the first place may have changed your settings to not allow the = saving of cookies on your system, resulting in things like home pages = not saving your settings. I will tell you this, though. When I DID use Netscape, which was many = years ago, when it was considered the dominant browser and not owned by = AOL, there were a ton of settings for customizing the view and screen = layout... including button placement. The current version you use is = nothing like the older version, which had a 'Windows 95' look, if you = know what I mean. They made it prettier, but probably at the expense of = a few other things. Try going into each and every tab on top and toying = with the options. Do it one-at-a-time, and hopefully this will help you = track down the issues you want addresses. Unless it's the home page you = are referring to, in which case see the beginning of my post. ---Troth -----Original Message----- From: pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx = [mailto:pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rita Harper Sent: Monday, November 28, 2005 2:23 PM To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: -=3DPCTechTalk=3D- Re: Hello... Hi, Thanks for answering my email. It looks different because now,=20 instead of having pictures and then the story below the picture,=20 everything is listed on the left side of my computer. All the things=20 that were on the original page are there, but they are just listed and=20 if I want to see something, I can click on it and a new window opens=20 up. It's kind of hard to explain, but before, all the news and articles = were on the homepage, I think it's all still there, and I can click on=20 each thing and open up another page, but now everything is just listed=20 on the left side of the computer. I guess I can live with it, but it's=20 just different than I was use to. At the very top of the page, it says, Enable screen reader compatibility features for this page=20 <http://www.netscape.com/?acbl=3Dsrfy> if I click on that, it just=20 changes to disable screen reader. You might be able to tell by now, I = don't like change...lol..... Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. I will give them a try....
