I don't see your email as having any effect here.  It takes the same amount 
of bandwidth to download your messages whether you let them trickle in 
overnight or download them all at once in the morning (or late afternoon, or 
...).  If you feel that there's no way you have used up the amount that it 
takes to reach the limit, I would immediately call them and make as big a 
fuss as you can muster.  Just understand that this advice is from an 
ex-customer of a different satellite service that treated us terribly even 
though we couldn't possibly have come anywhere near the usage that they said 
we used (so I may still be a little jaded    lol).  I have no idea how long 
you will be made to stay at the reduced rate since those things vary from 
one provider to another.
