I don't have any experience w/ ME.  I skipped that version (much to Bill's=
 displeasure) because I was using 98SE without problems and I'd read about=
 ME and some problems.  I only moved to XP because it came with my new=
 computer.  I'll look at the thread and see if I can think of anything=
 <obvious> that you might try.
