Johnny, thanks for that explanation, makes perfect sense. So if we set our incoming mail to "plain text only" these attachment icons will disappear--but then we wouldn't be able to receive a lot of HTML stuff either! It's a trade-off, which I don't mind, I just didn't understand why those attachments were there. Now all is well, Lynn and I are happy once again, right Lynn? :o) Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all the group, you are good people! ~Glo ----- Original Message ----- From: Johnny Goodell To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, December 24, 2004 4:12 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Fw: This is Odd AVG will show attachment only for incoming html messages, although there is actually ment. PCTechTalk is a text incoming message, so there is no attachment sign. Guess it's something that's not yet fixed by AVG 7 Free that is just released to public. Many people shud report it to AVG forum norder the AVG experts fix it soon. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Scott" <conrod@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Fw: This is Odd Date: Fri, 24 Dec 2004 08:42:54 +1030 Glo, Thanks for that..... it's just stuff for the In box and not the messages that go into my Pctechtalk folder....... wonder why?? --- avast!
