I use quite a lot of extensions, but the one that has probably gotten the
most use out of me is the TinyURL extension... allowing me to creat
TinyURL's by a simple right-click.

Yes, extensions are a great feature of Firefox, and worth exploring. 
Two that I've found invaluable in the past are AdBlock and Image 
Zoom.
