ML, No, I'm not talking about the System Tray (now called the 'Notification Area' in WinXP). Right click on the Taskbar and hover over the Tollbars listing. A second menu will open and you can then click on QuickLaunch bar. It's a toolbar that can hold as many shortcuts as you want to throw at it. I have shortcuts there for nearly everything I need. Hard drives, specific folders (such as the main MP3 folder that holds all of the music on my system - there are tons of subfolders under it), system tools I use a lot, Favorites, often visited web site shortcuts, games I'm currently playing, text files with frequently needed info, etc.. My desktop is completely clear because I move my shortcuts to this bar instead. Have fun. :O) Peace, GMan "The only dumb questions are the ones that are never asked!" ----- Original Message ----- From: "ML" <my2punkin@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 07, 2007 5:58 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Device Manager? > mmmmmmm you are not talking about sys tray?
