just curious...........where did you get your pc with XP? Here in North Florida I was told the only store in the city was Compusa. But I imagine you can probably get them online somewhere? In the last 3 months I have reformatted the Acer 7 times not including the time I put in a larger hard drive trying to fix the problems. The problems included things like a program would just stop and then start up again after 10 or so seconds. Having the curser jump all over while typing. Took 15 min. to tape a short note , 3 lines, to a friend. Followed the directions an making a rescue disk, only to have it give me a bad syntax error the first time I used it. I can't say the whole problem was one thing or the other but I have a feeling it a combination of the Acer, Vista and me. But know I'm back with XP and happy as a pig in Sh*t.
