yes - I make a folder - several actually - I put it under e-mail, and then a
sub folder that has the name of the e-mail folder in it, and the days date
that I move it. Highlight the mail in OE that you want to move, and drag
it - right click and choose either move here or copy here (it doesn't delete
it from your OE - you would have to do that yourself) - and it will copy
the mail to that folder. NOW - the only conflict is when you go to move mail
again into that folder, and it has the same subject line as an e-mail that
is already in there. It will reject it. So - I will either re-name an e-mail
in the folder I drag to, or I will build a sub folder, with that days date
in it, and drag the new e-mails to that folder.
make sense?

ok then, where is this other folder you drag your mail to? I mean do you
make your OE screen smaller so you can see "my docs" screen and drag to a
folder there?--Glo

I don't believe you can open them - That's just where they are and Jeff is
backing them up. If his OE crashes, he can put them back in there and have
his mail saved.
That's one reason I just save my mail by dragging to another folder. then if
I want to read it, I click on it and it opens in OE - I save mine, more
because I didn't get to do what I wanted with it yet - like if it has fonts
attached, then I can save it and later open it in a folder and save the
fonts and delete the e-mail. Or graphics or cartoons -

Cris--I found this location, but how do you open these files to look at
them? Or can you?
When I click on them, I get the "open with" list and there's nothing top
open those files with--how do you do it? --Glo
