I'm attempting to repair a friend's computer, which have the Nail.exe
infection. I thought I'd just reinstall the WinXP OS; that way I can have
confidence that Nail.exe is gone. However, the CD drive is not listed. It is
listed in BIOS, where I have set it to be first boot. I've changed/reseated
the cable. Power to the CD drive is present. I attached an USB external CD
drive, which also is not listed. I suspect it is not listed because of the
Nail.exe infection . . . but I am not sure. I'd appreciate any Suggestions how
to resolved this problem.

Thanks in advance for any response.
