GMan
Let me ask you this question, would a new motherboard fix this issue? Have
connectors that would connect with the newer case's inputs? The reason is this,
I would like to try and put in a new Motherboard as soon as I can save the
money. Cheap but GOOOD :-) . GMan you know I have been thinking of this and to
be honest the URL was a bit tough.....LOL I'm not really understanding the
audio setup as compared to a USB setup?

You know more than me wise young one :-)
Lead me to my Contraption, I have tons of chores waiting on the verdict :-)

P.S. How do you all keep up????????????

  Becky,
Bills are worse than taxes, but they both seem to be doing well.
lol

If you can move the USB devices to the slots in a card below, we're
probably better targetting those slots in the card instead of the ones
already in use. The mainboard USB ports are most likely an older version of
the USB standard (1.1), while the card may have been added to provide slots
with the newer 2.0 standard, which runs many, many times faster. The trick
now is to discuss the best way to route USB cables from the front panel
connector out the back of the case to these ports. I know you will at least
need some kind of extention cable to make it long enough. You will also
need a hole that's large enough for the USB connector to pass through. If
your case does not already have such an opening, one example is shown in the
link below.
