Ok after a year of no problems (at least none not caused by me lol) I have run
across a problem I can't pin point. Here is a description and then a couple
questions.
It would spontaneous re-boot; now I narrowed that down to a setting in which it
reboots on critical errors; so now I get BSOD's. This has happened only after I
upgraded to FireFox 2; it will Blue Screen or Just Freeze; can not do a thing
but power on\off from the Box. But there was Once when I tried to start Power
DVD it froze; but firefox was running in the background. that is why I think it
might be a Plug in for Multimedia or a Codec of some sort. It Just recently
Happened w\ IE 7 as Well . Now I did put new RAM in it around May 7th; but this
is something new, as in the last 2 weeks Since I installed FireFox; Out Post
Free FireWall and Peer Guardian. Now I have uninstalled Out Post and Fire Fox.
Before I go the full way and just reinstall\restore it all ( love Gateway by
the way) lol I was wondering any ideas and can I get a list of Video\Audio
Codec's installed so Maybe I can avoid installing it again ?? Need any other
info Please let me know .

My PC :

Pent. 4 3.06
1 Gig of DDR2 Ram 333mhz
XP Home Service Pack 2
On Board Video: ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Series
