Hi everyone,
I am back online after nearly 4 weeks without a computer... We had a very
bad thunder storm which fried my power supply, modem and network card. As
my computer is 220v and here everything is 110v it took me a while to find a
dual voltage power supply (we rewired the whole house for 220). I feel very
proud because I was able to do all the hardware by myself and get
everything working also :o)) All I needed was to have the broadband tech
come reconfigure the network card coz I had no clue how to go about it!
Sorry if I didn't reply to messages, including one from Chris regarding the
downloading in Windows. Just wanted to say that your tip worked, Chris,
thanks a million :o))
