I did a search online for your problem and someone else had it and this was
what was suggested to help them:
I'm almost willing to bet that your mouse sensitivity is too sensitive, and you
are ending up clicking twice without meaning to, and the position of the cursor
happens to coincide with where the Send button is.

To test this theory, instead of clicking on the Reply Button at the top left of
the opened email, select the email in your inbox, and click the Reply button
from there, or use Ctrl+R to open a reply email.

If everything works that way, then be careful of double-clicking the Reply
icon. you can adjuste your mouse sensitivity through your Control Panel.

Give that a try and see if it helps Pen.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
