I got disappointed in my new video card today. I have been running a Gforce 7900 gt 256 mb. I upgraded to a Gforce 8600 gt 512 mb The problem is that with the 7900 my 3Dmark benchmark was 4400 With the new 8600 the benchmark is only 4300. 100 points lower than the old card. How is it the 8600 is considered a improvement?
